The first Sunday of every month, Prosperity Banks are blessed.
Deposit your coins and affirm “With a thankful heart, I anticipate and accept God’s abundance”.
Remember to pick your bank up at the back of the sanctuary to use for the month. Also on the first of every month, blood pressure readings are taken by Jo Adams, Marilyne Hanson or Dr. David Hall. These are not diagnostic but for your records only.
Sundays -UNITY-VERSITY meets 9:30 – 10:20 AM in the Upper Room. The Sunday morning class is currently studying Wayne Dyer’s book “Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Mind” . All are welcome. Also meeting on Sundays in Harmony Hall is the O.A. -H.O.W group at 4 PM.
Tuesdays- Des Moines – The Gathering – Noetic Science group meeting at Unity Church meeting presently in the Prayer Room 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM. It is an offshoot of the large group called Common Thread which meets only once a month at the Presbyterian Church. Visit the website www.shiftinaction.com .

Tuesdays - ”A COURSE IN MIRACLES” meets 7-8:30 PM in Harmony Hall on May 11th & May 25.. Come join this study group co-facilitated by Yvonne Farley and Lynn Laws. Call church office 255-7757 with questions and for more information. The class is offered on a love offering basis. This is a wonderful study course to retrain your mind and eliminate negative, destructive thinking. It is possible to significantly reduce the time you spend with anger, guilt and fear, and fill your life with peace, joy and love instead.
Please note that there will be NO meetings in June.
Wednesday, NVC Study Group, A study group that meets each Wed nesday at 6:30 PM to continue the study of the Non-Violent Communication Workshop. They will be following the workbook, which is available in the Bookstore.
Fridays – PIONEER INTENDERS GROUP meets every 3rd Friday of the month from 9:30 – 11: 00 AM in the upper room. All are welcome. This is a support group to help us set and keep our attention.

We REQUEST: EVERYONE BE AVAILABLE DURING SEPTEMBER AS THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO MEET AND GREET THE NEW CANDIDATES.
We are so pleased and excited to announce the arrival of our candidates for consideration to be our next minister during the month of Sept-Oct. We have been very blessed. It was difficult to choose only four.
The following will be the agenda for their respective weekends:
They will come in on a Fri. afternoon and be given a tour of the city. People can volunteer for the tours.
Fri. evening they will have dinner with the Church Board.
Sat. afternoon 1-3 or 4 PM will be a workshop.
Sunday the candidate will do the service followed by a Question & Answer time with the congregation.
Everyone in the congregation will be given an evaluation sheet to fill out for
each candidate.
Hear each one for Workshop and Sunday Service, be in prayer while evaluating, and everyone will be blessed.

THE MINISTER SEARCH TEAM UPDATE: We have been in the process of reviewing applicant’s resumes that have been submitted. After checking numerous references of the applicants, watching their DVDs and having telephone conferences, the research ministerial team has selected four applicants to come to Unity to speak, present a workshop, visit with the Board of Directors and the members of Unity. How exciting as the process progresses. We have been very blessed with the quality of those applying. Thank you to Deb Hill Davis, Jerry Rogers, Nancy Hall, Kathy McClintic, Preeti Alharya, Dennis Kain, Marilyne Hanson, Mona Thompson, Phyllis Johansen, Lynn Staunton and Dee Willemsen who so graciously volunteered. Deb Hill-Davis is our Team Leader. The church raised enough money to contact the Association and to continue the work of attracting our next spiritual partner.
LADIES’ LUNCH BUNCH has resumed meeting the first Wednesday of every month.
NEW BEGINNING CAMPAIGN – Great progress is being made toward our fundraising goal of $30,000. We are almost there! We can still use your help so we can continue the work of attracting our next spiritual partner. When you provide a gift for this purpose, please make sure you designate it for this fund.
SUNDAY SCHOOL UPDATE – Sunday School will be offered every third week of the month. We also provide Nursery services every Sunday and YOU.
