Youth Education Programs

SUNDAY SCHOOL UPDATE – Sunday School will be offered every third week of the month.  Thank you so much Naima Nicholson and Bridgett Barnes.

Until we have more youth teachers and helpers, we ask that children between the ages of 3-11 to sit with their parents upstairs during the service.  A nursery is provided downstairs for those less than 3 1/2 years during the Worship Service.  The Y.O.U. will continue to meet downstairs in Harmony Hall.  We are currently working on getting Sunday School started again.  In order to do this, we will need people to participate and be involved in the Sunday School program.  We welcome anyone that would like to teach or help out.  We apologize for any inconvenience this causes those with young children.  We have Sunday School material, so once we have teachers and helpers, we can plan on starting.

Our numbers are growing in the YOU/Uni-Teen Room (ages 12-16), and we are very excited for the growth.  We feel so blessed to have this wonderful, growing group.  We are finding that with all these new people around, we get to learn new things and have a opportunity to share new ideas with each other.

We are still working on our new curriculum that is focusing on prayer, meditation and being “Unity” in the world.  We have just finished the section on prayer, and we will be starting the section on meditation next.  It’s been very enlightening to study these subjects and learn new techniques.
